It seems that lately I have faced situations where people did not do what they were supposed to do. It came up in a conversation and I realized it probably is my number one pet peeve. The kid was to take out the trash and because they did not the dog got into it and made a very big mess. The kid was to put the wash in the dryer and because they did not something is growing on the clothes. Or put something back where they got it and now it is lost never to be found again. Or simply come to the door to sign for papers? I guess this is another one of those areas where I need to allow God to be God.
Someone asked me this week what I did for fun. You mean something that does not involve work, school, or taking care of the kids? Does safety pinning a pair of pants because I don't hem count? Pokeno? That counts but is only one night a week. Recently I acquired a digital camera (pictures will come soon) and I have enjoyed taking pictures, especially of the kids. This is probably because it annoys them. Annoying my teenagers...does that count as something fun?! Since I am not paying for film the frugal side of me is content to take several pictures just to see what I get. I went to a friends house and announced I was going to take a picture of the family. Next time I may give her notice so the kids can be properly dressed, well at least dressed. My kids are already tired of it. I will be taking a photography class this semester (which by the way counts for my major) and I never know when I might get that "one" picture.

I may not update mine today but I can at least comment on yours. :-)
I think photography is a very fun hobby. In fact, you need to will me your camera whenever you move on to a bigger and better one, eh? ;-)
As for my child being dressed ...
When you get to feeling better we will go take pictures. And yes, you can use the camera. I don't plan on moving to bigger and better unless you are referring to a camera. So, by the time that does happen this camera will be "old school" as my kids say!
Uh, yeah, of course I was referring to moving on to a bigger and better CAMERA ... what else would I have been referring to???
