When one of your teenagers says something very insensitive and extremely hurtful, it is best to keep your mouth shut and go to your room to cry and scream before responding. It is not good to blow up. A teenager lacks the maturity and the brain cells to have a clue that what they said was really a stupid thing to say. This would be one of those times to remember that you are the parent and they are the kid!
Anyone want to borrow a teenager for a couple of days?!
