God is Bigger than this

Arlyn Kantz is a wife, mother of four, homeschool teacher, musician, author, and spokesperson. She and her husband, Will, knew something wasn’t quite right with their third child, Willson. Arlyn researched extensively to find the reason. At age 3 ½ Willson was diagnosed with autism. God provided an avenue for Arlyn to return to school to pursue a Master’s degree in special education. Arlyn’s intent was to equip herself to help her son. Arlyn has "dedicated herself to studying theories and treatments in an effort to further her son's ability to communicate." Although Willson's speech was not there, he did respond to music. Arlyn’s music background allowed her to begin creating a program for Willson using music to encourage his speech. Her husband Will continued to tell her God’s desire was for something bigger than this. Precision Songs was the result. Fort Worth ISD awarded Precision Songs with the Impact Award. It is an award that, "recognize new companies that will better our world by bringing to market new technologies and innovations that will have a significant impact on our environment, community or health." Over 100 schools and institutions are using the materials from Precision Songs.

Arlyn began using her method in Vacation Bible School. Joni and Friends found out about it. Will and Arlyn are the spokespeople for Autism for Joni and Friends for the West Coast Disability Ministry Summit. In the last year, the Kantz's were lead to begin a church for families with special needs children. Currently, they are in the remodeling process. The completion date is dependent on volunteers. They would like to be completely finished by Thanksgiving, but depending on the number of volunteers it may be the first of the year.
